Two Men Accused of Exposing Themselves to School Kids

Two Central Florida men, in separate incidents, are facing charges after authorities claim they exposed themselves in front of school children Wednesday morning.

Once man was arrested after children reported seeing him committing sex acts in woods near Casselberry Elementary in Seminole County. At least five school-aged children could see him, according to a Casselberry Police report.

Meanwhile, Orlando Police claim a 31-year-old man exposed himself to a 13-year-old girl and tried to grab her as she was walking to Stonewall Jackson Middle School. Police said she was able to pull away and a witness helped her to the school.

Both men are facing charges relating to lewd or lascivious behavior.

Police and prosecutors view sex crimes quite seriously, and if children are involved, the stakes are increased drastically. A sex crimes charge can be enough to ruin your career and destroy your reputation. A conviction could require you to register as a sex offender. To avoid unnecessarily harsh penalties, these charges need to be taken seriously from the very beginning.

Just because you are accused of committing a lewd or lascivious act, this does not automatically mean you are guilty. It is important to take these charges seriously, though. Our Florida Sex Crimes Defense Lawyers at Whittel & Melton can help you determine your best defense strategy. We want to see you achieve the best possible outcome for your situation.
