Naples Doctor Accused of Possessing Child Pornography

A Naples doctor was arrested Friday on charges of child pornography after Collier County investigators allegedly found child pornography files offered for distribution from his internet IP address.

Comcast apparently confirmed the IP address belonged to the doctor and a search of his home was conducted Friday.

According to the Collier County Sheriff’s Office, 50 child pornography videos were found on a Dell laptop that allegedly belonged to the doctor.

A total of three laptops were apparently uncovered by detectives. According to police, more forensic examinations will be done on the computers which could mean the doctor will face additional charges.

The doctor, a urologist on staff with NCH Healthcare since May 2007, was arrested and charged with 50 counts of possession of child pornography.
