Disney Employee Arrested for Alleged Child Porn and Molestation
A Disney stage tech who lives in Mascotte was arrested Monday after he allegedly admitted to downloading child pornography and sexually abusing a child, according to the Lake County Sheriff’s Office.
The 59-year-old man is charged with 20 counts of possession of child pornography, 287 counts of production of child pornography, 34 counts of lewd or lascivious molestation and three counts of sexual battery. He is being held without bond.
Detectives served a search warrant at the man’s home early Monday. They claim they found 20 images of child pornography, according to an arrest affidavit.
An updated arrest affidavit with new charges states there are seven videos of the man molesting an infant. In an interview at the jail on Monday, “he admitted to sexually abusing this child in his residence,” the affidavit states.
The man also admitted to having downloaded child pornography for years, according to deputies.
As detectives continued to review the evidence during the search, they claim they came across images of a young girl who was being molested by the man. Detectives apparently uncovered that the child lives in California.
California authorities found the child and arrested her mother on molestation charges, according to reports. It is believed that the girl’s mother and the man met online.
