A Tampa police officer was arrested and charged with sexual battery Thursday morning.
The officer, a 12-year veteran of the police force, is accused of raping a woman he pulled over for speeding on Feb. 1. The alleged victim was in her 20s.
The officer denied the woman’s accusations. He was fired March 4.
